Banana Oat Power Bars


These are simple and easy option if you are on the go all the time. Full of seeds, oats and bananas - these will be sure to power you through your day!

  • 1/2 cup oats, grind oats in blender if you don't have flour

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats

  • 3 TBS mini allergy free chocolate chips

  • 2 TBS raisins

  • 2 TBS chia seeds

  • 1 TBS flax seeds

  • 1 TBS sunflower seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cup very ripe bananas, mashed about 2 large bananas

  • 2 TBS almond butter any kind of nut butter would work

  • 1 TBS honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In medium bowl combine oats, oat flour, chocolate chips, currants or raisins, chia seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

  3. In a small bowl combine mashed banana, almond butter, sugar and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix well.

  4. Spread out in a thin layer on oiled cookie sheet or 9x12 baking dish.

  5. Bake 22-24 minutes, until edges begin to brown. Cool completely before cutting into 12 bars.
