Banana Oat Power Bars
These are simple and easy option if you are on the go all the time. Full of seeds, oats and bananas - these will be sure to power you through your day!
1/2 cup oats, grind oats in blender if you don't have flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
3 TBS mini allergy free chocolate chips
2 TBS raisins
2 TBS chia seeds
1 TBS flax seeds
1 TBS sunflower seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup very ripe bananas, mashed about 2 large bananas
2 TBS almond butter any kind of nut butter would work
1 TBS honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350.
In medium bowl combine oats, oat flour, chocolate chips, currants or raisins, chia seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
In a small bowl combine mashed banana, almond butter, sugar and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread out in a thin layer on oiled cookie sheet or 9x12 baking dish.
Bake 22-24 minutes, until edges begin to brown. Cool completely before cutting into 12 bars.
