Tahini Protein Cookie Bars

An easy dessert recipe that's nutrient packed?! I am on it! Tahini protein cookie dough bars! These are loaded with healthy fats, protein, plus their paleo, dairy free, refined sugar free, no baking required and SO delicious!

*You can use any nut butter you want if you don't want to use tahini. Tahini is just sesame seeds ground into a thicker sauce (used in lots of indian cuisines) 

- 1/2 Cup of Tahini
- 3/4 Cup of Almond flour or another flour substitute
- 1/4 Cup of Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 Scoop of Vegan Protein Powder
- 1 Tbsp. of Coconut Oil, melted
- 1/2 Cup of Allergy Free Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp. of Salt
Topping
- 1/2 Cup of Allergy Free Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp. of Coconut Oil

1. Mix together cookie dough ingredients. If it feels to dry, add 2 tbs of tahini to every 1 tbs of maple syrup. Add chocolate chips.
2. Press into a 8x4 lined pan. Melt chocolate and coconut oil and pour over cookie dough. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until hardened.
3, Sprinkle with sea salt, slice and DEVOUR!
